Comment by Rokas14 Mount looks epic except for the metal part on the one horn that makes it look like crap, blizzard either take that annoying metal thing off and have two normal horns, or make it have no horns at all; its already bad-ass enough without them anyway.

The Alliance version is Grand Armored Gryphon. Interestingly, if you get this mount on one of your Horde characters you will automatically have the Alliance version available to any Alliance characters on the same account.

Comment by Elasium Somewhat buggy with the sitting animation. Blood Elfs that sit on them actually sit Inside the saddle. The Non-Armored one you sit normally on, however it appears they just added a saddle Which looks amazing btw , but you still sit on the non-armored one. Comment by Speratic I found a super easy way to get this mount. Simply buy the Dominance Offensive commendations during the Time walking Mists of Pandarus for 50 timewarped badges, then do the super short quest line to unlock the vendor and boom.
An added bonus is that when you unlock this mount, you also unlock the Alliance Grand Armored Wyveryn as well, so you get to have both super amazingly good looking mounts for minimal effort!
